Assembling:Putting the desk together was a bit tedious. It's doable with only one person but is a lot whole easier with two people. I did it all by myself, though I struggled until I was able to get someone to hold certain parts together while I screwed them on.Looks:It's really sleek and modern looking! You can switch the side on where you put the shelf (just make sure to look closely at the instructions so you don't have to end up disassembling again like I did). It fits a lot of things and is quite big! I'm 5'6" and the height is great for me.Use:I use it for everyday school work and normal work. I'm a graphic designer so I often have a lot of tech on my desk ((I usually put it on the shelf)). On my desk I was able to fit my laptop (with a stand) my keyboard, a mic, and my tablet. Though I'm also planning to add a monito later on.The desk arrived with a corner of it already scratched. It should have been easy to put together. However, the instructions were not well done (neither is the video). We spent 15 mins going over the pieces to make sure we understood how it went together. Unfortunately, one of the tall pieces needed to be the other way in order to attach the brace. So, we had to take one side apart and do it again. The drawings do not give enough details as to which side should be up/down/left/right. That would be such an easy thing to add, that would cost nothing. The desk looked exactly like the picture (except mine had the scuffed area). A piece of plexiglass cut to fit would help keep it nice looking. It's very lightweight. It's adequate as a low end desk.This desk is great, looks good, perfect size, but this is very important. Pay attention to which way the parts are facing. You must look closely at the pictures, because they're are no words. There are subtle differences in the pieces, as to which way the holes are facing and line up. If you do this assembly is very easy but will require a second set of hands for a few pieces (I used my 8 yo son for this, just to hold things while I screwed it into place). Definitely recommendI've been using this desk for a few months now and it's amazing! One thing I like is that I was able to assemble the bottom shelfs to my standards. My computer fits perfectly on this desk. The leg room underneath is also perfect especially since it fits in a tight space. Not too close to the wall and not to out in the open.This desk was easy to assemble! It takes up very little space in the corner of my room. It has plenty of leg room and shelf space for all your office supples. I use the top shelf for my printer! This desk is sturdy and well crafted! Definitely recommend!I put my new desk/bookcase (I purchased the 40 inch) in my bedroom to have a place to work, read, write notes, etc. It was easy to install (although the hex head screw driver that came with it was defective so I had to find another one). Watching the short install video was very helpful before reading the instructions and it took me about 30 minutes to put together. The look of the "wood" is pretty and it's very sturdy as well. I would recommend this setup for anyone needing a space to work that doesn't take up much room!Pretty good. Welds on the bars are OK but what can you expect for the price? This is not reversible, which is why only 4 stars but other than that completely satisfied. Desk surface pretty decent too, I think it's particle board with laminate top but doesn't deform with monitor clamp mounts like my ikea desk did. Bars underneath are pretty close to the edges of desk surface so may interfere with monitor mountsThe assembly was easy enough, but we still had to redo part because we did it wrong. Now that it's assembled, I love using it. Very study, plenty of leg room.After spending hours looking for a good white desk for a PC i was chuffed and Absolutely over the moon. Very surprised at the Quality of the desk for the price. Great value. It is very solid and very big even though i bought the smaller size of the two.
