I purchased my desk on Oct 4th 2019. I personally am a fan of glass desks, although admittedly glass desks are not for everyone. I personally love this desk and I plan to buy another one in the near future to use with my second computer gaming/workstation. It holds up weight fairly well, I had my Samsung CG49 monitor on it for a few days until I wall mounted it. I did purchase a 4" tall glass shelf to give me some elevated space in front of my keyboard. I love the rounded edges on the side, I do wish the front had a rounded edge, but that is hard to find in desks. Overall, the desk is in the same condition as the day I bought it, the joints have held up fine and the glass gets wiped down once every week or two.If you have never owned a glass desk before, fingerprints and oils from your skin will show on any glass furniture.Basically, do not go crazy with weight, it is glass not wood. Be wary of putting really hot plates of food and a cold drink directly on the surface together, that should go without saying but that was the major complaint about this desk when I bought it. I was more amused that they were shocked that it shattered and then gave it a 1-star review.I hope this review is helpful to would be buyers.
